  Lovely. Georgian building. 17th century paitings on walls. History buffs would enjoy. Paintings show ancestors of family who once lived at Ripley Castle.
  Breakfast was yummy. Fresh real grapefruit juice. Eggs benedict beautifully done. Fresh fruit salad- which lived up to its name.
  Evening meal -hake with cous cous crab and pineapple salsa- lovely. Waiters polite efficient and unobtrusive.

  Spent a couple of nights at the Board Head inn attending a wedding at Ripley Castle. Dinner at the Boars Head was superb as was the room I had. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very nice facilities.

  Great pub and a nice beer garden. The small village is worth a look around as well. Worth coming here to watch the tour de Yorkshire.
